Balmoral Hotel, Moffat

My stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were clean, large, and very comfortable, equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, and even had custard creams in the biscuit barrel. The staff was always happy, smiling, and ready to assist, and the hotel's location in the heart of Moffat was superb. The dining experience was fantastic, offering a top-notch breakfast. The facilities were impressive, complementing the overall great experience.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Moffat, offering a great location to break our journey in a lovely little town just a short distance from the motorway. The rooms were spacious, with a separate living room area, and the service was very friendly and ideally situated. The dining experience was brilliant with an excellent choice of high-quality food. However, the staff in the dining area seemed a little disappointing, not as energetic as expected.

The hotel is wonderfully located in the middle of the town, making it very convenient for access to the motorway. The rooms are warm, cosy, and spotless with excellent food for breakfast and evening meals. There is an extra sitting area and great amenities like coffee & tea making facilities and shower robes in the shower room. The service is top-notch, very helpful, friendly, and attentive without being pushy. The location offers quiet surroundings, with the added bonus of a seating area and plenty of goodies like a bowl of sweets, biscuits, bottled water, and milk in the fridge. The dining experience is consistently impressive, and the staff are always pleasant and helpful.
